GEMSTONE BRACELET- PERIDOT

Originally called "Gem of the Sun" Peridot was first discovered in Egypt about 340-279 BC. Found in Volcanic areas and in Meteorites, it is one of the oldest Gemstones on Earth!  Peridot was the main gemstone in Cleopatra's collection. It is known as a stone of compassion, good health, restful sleep, peace to relationships by balancing emotions and is considered a stone of renewal of all things. In 2005 Peridot was found in comet dust brought back from the robotic space probe! Peridot creates the phenomenon known as "green sand" when Peridot rises to the surface and covers the beaches in Hawaii, Guam, Ecuador and Norway.

Fun Fact: The most productive Peridot deposit in the world is located on the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation located in SouthEast Arizona!
